What to Expect at Mountain View

Is There a Dress Code?

We are a country church with mountain in our name, you can certainly count on your share of jeans and cowboy boots. Our pastors wear suits but can often be found in overalls. Wear your best and let God take care of the rest.

What is your Worship Like?

We believe in traditional worship (Hymns) and exclusively use the King James Version Bible. We are traditional, but not in the way you may think. Expect a loving and challenging experience from our singing and preaching without being dogmatic or legalistic.

What is your Congregation Like?

Our church strives to love one another and our community as we are taught to love throughout the Bible. Expect to be greeted by one and many of our church members, the welcoming spirit of our church is refreshing and exciting to be in.

What is Your Church Like?

Our church is a traditional Baptist church with a heart for our local community. We have a loving church community and seek to make each visitor feel at home.

What Areas do you serve?

The church is located in the Tuxedo/Zirconia community, most here prefer our area to be called Tuxedo. Although the vast majority of our church is from Tuxedo, Green River, or Flat Rock we have a number of families from Hendersonville, surrounding areas in Henderson county, and even upstate South Carolina.
